College is an exciting time of personal, intellectual and social growth. As Spelman College helps cultivate and support students who accept the charge to change the world, we also want to foster emotional and psychological growth that further allows our students to succeed and flourish - that is where the Counseling Center can be helpful. Our licensed mental health professionals are grounded in womanist perspectives that aim to support and empower the interconnecting and complex experiences of the whole person and how intersectionality impacts the lived experiences of women of African descent.
