Methods of Payment at Spelman

Credit Card Convenience Fee

Spelman College is committed to providing a range of payment options to students and families. Due to changing compliance regulations and increasing costs, a new policy for the use of credit cards to pay charges on a student account will be implemented.

Beginning January 1, 2024, when processing an online credit card payment for tuition and fees, a nonrefundable service fee of 2.95 percent of your payment transaction amount ($3 minimum fee) will be assessed. The non-refundable convenience fee is determined and assessed by our third-party payment processor TouchNet/PayPath. This fee will appear as a separate charge on your credit card statement. TouchNet accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.

Students can avoid paying a convenience fee when making a payment on their student account by using an electronic (ACH). To pay online with an electronic check (ACH) please login to the student account suite to add your banking information.

The Office of Financial Aid exists to assist students in finding ways to finance their college education.
