Tickets and Seating

Guests are invited to attend Class Day, the March through the Alumnae Arch, Baccalaureate and Commencement.

No ticket is required for the Class Day program or Baccalaureate Ceremony; however, seating is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests will not be permitted to hold seats.

Commencement Tickets

Ticket and seating information will be shared very soon. All graduates must have their balances cleared to receive their tickets. Please refer to the checklist for clearance status. If there are concerns or questions, please contact the Registrar’s Office directly.

All items listed on the Graduation Checklist must also be completed in order to receive tickets.

Photography and Videography Release

Please be aware that photographers and members of the media will be taking photographs and filming Spelman's Commencement activities. Your presence at the ceremonies constitutes your release, permission, and consent to be photographed and/or recorded. Pictures and/or recordings of you may appear in future printed materials and online, including in commercially available publications.

If you do not wish to be photographed and/or recorded, please be aware of the presence of photographers and members of the media.
