The objective of Administrative Services is to leverage the College’s buying power through contract negotiations, supplier management, and technology adoptions, which supports and defines cost savings, service, quality, and best overall value.
Administrative Services will deliver superior customer service in support of it’s internal and external customers. The goal is to use our knowledge and expertise in the areas of procurement, mail services, copy services, switchboard operations, wireless communications, leased equipment, and vending services.

Vending machines are located in most buildings across campus. We offer a variety of beverages and snacks at each location. Refunds are issued in the Administrative Services Office, Rockefeller Hall-Lower Level.
The Telecommunications Operator is the first impression one gets of Spelman College. We receive and route approximately 25,000 calls annually. Our goal is to provide professional information regarding events on campus and to route calls accurately in a timely manner. The switchboard hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. EST. The College's general telephone number is 404-681-3643.
