The College offers many coordinated opportunities for minor children to visit campus through scheduled campus events, academic and non-academic programs, or as guests. Spelman recognizes its legal and institutional obligations to safeguard the well-being of minors on campus, in Spelman facilities, participating in college-sponsored events.

Members of the Spelman College community should report incidents of Child Abuse, Neglect and Endangerment using the form below. Completed forms will be submitted electronically to the Spelman College Police Department and the Title IX & Compliance Director.
For concerns regarding a child in Georgia, a report can be made to the Georgia Division of Child and Family Services by calling 1-855-422-4453, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year. A phone agent will respond to your call quickly and gather necessary information that an intake specialist will need to assess the child’s safety.
For incidents occurring outside the State of Georgia. The Title IX & Compliance office is available to assist members of the campus community with identifying the appropriate State agency.
