Campus Security is extremely important to Spelman College. We are committed to go beyond compliance as it relates to keeping our campus community safe. The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security and Crime Statistics Act is a consumer protection law aimed to provide transparency regarding campus crime policies and statistics.
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security and Crime Statistics Act, Spelman College publishes an Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The report consists of information regarding safety and security-related policies and crime statistics for Spelman College. The report also contains fire safety-related policy statements as well as fire statistics associated with the on-campus student housing facilities. The ASR statistics are for the preceding three (3) calendar years and includes policies and training in place to improve campus safety.
