Emergency Preparedness Training

Training Opportunities

In an ongoing effort to keep our community prepared for emergencies, Spelman College’s Public Safety Department will continue its series of virtual and in-person emergency training sessions.

During this training, Spelman’s Department of Public Safety will share resources and provide guidance related to how faculty, staff, and students should react in the event of an active shooter on campus. Safety officials will discuss who to contact in case of an emergency, when to shelter in place, how to report suspicious packages, and other topics to help our community stay safe.
