Steps to Enroll

I. Enrollment Confirmation Form and Fee

The enrollment confirmation form and non-refundable enrollment fee are required to guarantee your spot in the class. The form is located on your SpelCheck portal. Once the form is received, you will receive instructions on how to submit your enrollment deposit.

II. Enrollment Deposit

Thank you for your interest in submitting your non-refundable $500 enrollment confirmation fee. The enrollment deposit payment deadline is May 1. If you are admitted after this deadline, your payment is due no later than two weeks from the date posted on your letter.

III. Housing Application

The Spelman College housing application will be available to deposited students on April 1st. You will need your Spelman credentials (username and OneSpelman password) to access the application on the Housing Dashboard.

IV. Pre-Entrance Health Form

Completing the health forms is a required and important step in the enrollment process. Students are not allowed to move into a residence hall, participate in orientation, or register for classes without a completed health record on file.

V. Health Insurance Waiver

The health insurance waiver waives the college provided insurance. You will be prompted to provide your student ID # and last name. You will need to provide your personal health insurance information through this link.

When you have successfully completed the online waiver process, you will receive a confirmation email that includes your waiver reference number. If the waiver is not completed by the deadline, the student will be billed accordingly.

VI. mySpelman Portal

The mySpelman portal provides you with access to Spelman College community news. It serves as your online gateway to student self-services, academic information and new student orientation resources as a Spelman College student.
