Advanced Chinese I

This advanced Chinese language course is designed to further develop students' proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Mandarin Chinese. Emphasis is placed on improving conversational skills through discussions of CID. Tent events, Chinese culture, and other topics of student interest. By the end of the course, students will be able to comprehend authentic Chinese materials and express themselves with greater confidence in both written and spoken Chinese.

Advanced Chinese II

Building upon the skills developed in Advanced Chinese I, this course aims to help students achieve a higher level of proficiency in Mandarin Chinese. Through the study of more advanced vocabulary, grammar, and sentence patterns, students will further expand their ability to understand and communicate in the language. Classroom activities involve discussions of Chinese literature, films, news, and other cultural topics. Students will also engage in presentations, debates, and other interactive exercises to improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing abilities in Chinese. By the conclusion of the course, students will be well-prepared to use Chinese independently in academic and professional settings.
