About Food Studies

Who We Are…

2022-2023 Foo Studies ScholarsFood Studies Scholars receive funding, garden immersion, and research/professional development support for two years. As a member of the Food Studies Scholars cohort, you aid a sister/sibling-hood of students who are passionate about topics such as: food justice, food policy, agroecology, herbalism, food science, nutrition, and dietetics. In this current climate, we have all witnessed the importance of food for our physical, mental, and cultural preservation and reclamation. It is our hope that colleagues will find the needed community, scholarship, and professional opportunities through the Food Studies Scholars Program to approach pressing global and local food challenges.
