College-Sponsored Housing includes a variety of off-campus housing properties guaranteed by Spelman College for our students. For the 2024-2025 academic year, Spelman College offers College-Sponsored housing at Gammon Hall, Talbot Hall, the Mix and Westmar Lofts.
They are College-Sponsored because the students’ selection experience will be similar to an on-campus residence hall, the College guarantees the payment, and charges for these spaces can be included on the student’s account, as opposed to the student paying monthly rent directly to the property. Specifically, these properties are listed on the housing portal and students accept these assignments through the Housing Selection. A student’s financial aid award will be directly applied toward the cost of housing.

The Mix’s student apartments are located near the Georgia State University and are fully furnished, ranging from one to four bedrooms. Apartment amenities include private bedrooms and bathrooms, fully furnished, washer & dryer, stainless steel appliances, keyless entry, granite countertops, kitchens, high-speed wireless and wired internet, and more.
