Clinical Laboratory
Laboratory test are performed as ordered by medical providers. Examples of laboratory test done in the clinic are venipuncture, urinalysis, rapid strep, rapid mono, rapid influenza, urine pregnancy, STI's and other labs as requested.Health Education
The Student Health Services Department offers health information and education to faculty, staff and students. Trained Health Services staff teach first aid/CPR courses twice a year. The peer educators also host several educational events throughout the school year.Consultant Services
Physician specialists are available to students upon referral by Student Health Services medical providers for medical conditions that need further evaluation.
Immunizations and Flu Shots
Immunization services are offered to first-year, transfer and international students who are unable to complete immunization requirements in their home states or countries. Immunizations offered include the Meningitis vaccine, Varicella vaccine for chickenpox disease, MMR, Tetanus, and Hepatitis B. PPD screening for Tuberculosis is available as well.
The influenza vaccine is offered yearly to students, faculty and staff at no charge. Watch for emails and announcements about the campaign.

Comprehensive gynecological services are available to students, including pap smears, breast exams, pregnancy testing, sexually transmitted infections (STI’s) screening/treatments, as well as contraceptive counseling. Services are offered by appointment only. Same day appointments may be available. Students more than five minutes late will be asked to reschedule their appointment.
Comprehensive medical services are offered to students for urgent, acute and chronic conditions. Students can receive unlimited office visits with medical providers. The primary care clinic operates by appointment only. Same-day appointments are available in most cases. Referrals to outside facilities, providers and clinics are available when ordered by the nurse practitioner, physician or requested by the patient.
X-Ray, EKGs, and ultrasounds are just a few of the diagnostic tests that can be ordered in Student Health Services through collaborating facilities.
