Thank you for your interest in the Bonner Scholar Program at Spelman College. Information about the Bonner Program application and the selection timeline for incoming students in the Class of 2029 will be available here on February 17, 2025.
Those who complete the requirements of their service cohort will graduate with an exceptional portfolio of skills, experiences, insights and responsibilities that will distinguish them among their peers. They are well prepared for success in professional or graduate school as well as competitive for prestigious national fellowships and scholarships. Their hands-on achievements as problem-solvers, team leaders and innovators will be backed with a deep understanding of the social and political challenges that face us at home and globally. Service Scholars will step forth as Spelman graduates who are prepared to act and lead, as well as to think and to know.
The Spelman Civic Scholar Programs are highly-selective programs for exceptional undergraduate students with a passion for service and a talent for leadership. The programs are designed to focus the selected students on making a difference on campus, in the Metro-Atlanta community, and in the world.
