How often can I come to the Writing Center?
Come as often as you'd like. However, it is VERY important that you try and come to the Writing Center at least two days before the paper is due. Tutors cannot help you if you do not have time to revise your paper.

How long is a tutorial session?
Tutorial sessions are given in 30-minute periods. If you would like a longer session, choose two consecutive appointments.

How can I make an appointment?
You can make an appointment by visiting our scheduling system, WCONLINE. If you have never signed up for the service, you will need to fill out a brief registration form. We also can service walk-ins based on availability.

If you are ten or more minutes late for your appointment, you will have to wait for an available tutor.

What happens if I miss my appointment?

If you miss four or more appointments, your account will be restricted, and you will be unable to schedule tutorial sessions. To have your account restored, you will need to see Professor McKie in The Camille Olivia Hanks Cosby, Ed.D. Academic Center, Room 334.
