This notice is to provide an update on changes to the composition of the 41st Miss Spelman Court.

To enhance the efficiency of score tabulation for the Miss Spelman Pageant, the Office of Student Life and Engagement implemented the use of Tally Genie, an online pageant platform. It is customary for the Office of Student Life and Engagement to meticulously review scores for accuracy. During intermission, concerns arose regarding potential discrepancies, prompting us to seek clarification. The proprietor of Tally Genie was promptly contacted to validate the integrity of the scores and calculations. Subsequent testing revealed an oversight in properly incorporating student votes into the total scores for each contestant.

As a result, changes to the composition of the 41st Miss Spelman Court were necessary. Mallory Butts was initially crowned Miss Spelman, with Sanaa Rowser and Arianna Woods designated as the 1st and 2nd attendants, respectively. However, the corrected calculation necessitated a reassignment of the 2nd Attendant title from Arianna Woods to Josefina Adonai Osei-Owusu and Arianna Woods will be the 3rd Attendant.
