The Spelman College Education Department offers Elementary Education (P-5), Secondary (6-12), and P-12 Education. Secondary fields include Chemistry, English, History, Mathematics, Physics, and Political Science. P – 12 Education fields include Music and Spanish.

Information Sessions and Interviews
When requesting your recruitment dates, please consider the following information:

1. The Teacher Candidates are available Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4 - 7 p.m.
2. We need at least 10 business days to reserve a particular room based on the size of your recruitment event.
3. Please let us know if you will need media for your meeting.
4. It is the responsibility of the recruiter to make arrangements for refreshments, but we can provide suggestions prior to your visit.

Posting Opportunities
All announcements will be posted via social media sites and sent to Teacher Candidates’ emails within five businesses days upon receipt of actual posting. Please note that the use of links to related information and engaging pictures are preferable when posting to our social media sites.


Directions to campus


Upon your campus arrival, check-in with the Education Department in Giles Hall Suite G-5 (second door) before proceeding to the reserved location so that you may be properly escorted and provided with any additional needs for your visit.

Parking
Parking is available in the Spelman parking garage located just pass the security gate on the right. The daily parking fee is $3. Cash preferred.
