Promoting Community Accountability
The Title IX and Compliance Office adheres to the federal Title IX civil rights law that prohibits sex-based discrimination in any school or educational program that receives federal funding. Spelman’s Title IX and Compliance Office is focused on preventive education, effective response, and intentional assessment around sex discrimination, including domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Additionally, the Title IX and Compliance Office assists the Enterprise Risk Management Committee to review institutional compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

- To request a training or a program, please complete a program by request form. Please note, program requests should be made 10 business days prior to the suggested date and time of the requested program.
