Mikia Frazier Sets Her Eyes on Becoming a School Superintendent

Frazier MikiaMikia Frazier, C'2019, senior class president, chose to attend Spelman because of its dedication to strengthening Black women and focusing on helping students understand the intersectionality of Black womanhood.

During her time at Spelman, the Riceboro, Georgia native served with the class of 2019 for three consecutive years as sophomore co-social chair, junior co-social chair, and senior class president. A member of the Woman of Excellence in Leadership Class of 2019, Frazier also serves as the president of the Georgia Association of Educators and has been inducted into Kappa Delta Epsilon Education Fraternity and Phi Beta Kappa.

After graduation, Frazier will begin teaching while pursuing her graduate degree in education. Her goal is to pursue a position as a school administrator and eventually become a superintendent.
