Meghan Marks Will Change Higher Education and Serve as a Chief Diversity Officer

Meghan MarksMeghan Marks, C'2019, is the president of the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity Inc. and a four-year member of the Ethel Waddell Githii Honors Program. The Birmingham, Alabama native chose to attend Spelman College because she knew this institution would equip her with the confidence and skills to be a successful Black woman.

While at Spelman, the English major and management organization minor, served as a peer tutor in the Writing Center. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, a graduate of the Women of Excellence Leadership class of 2019, and a member of the “Sweet” Mu Pi chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.

Marks, who aspires to become a chief diversity officer at a major university, will pursue her master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Vanderbilt University and then attend law school.
