Candace Keach, B.M. has been a Faculty Member Since 1998 and is an Instructor of Music.
Candace Keach, flutist, originally from Athens, Georgia, has been principal flutist with the Macon Symphony for over 20 years. A graduate of the University of Georgia with post-graduate studies at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, she has been a featured soloist with the Macon Symphony as well as with summer music festivals in Italy, Switzerland and France.
Her orchestral experience has also included performances with the Atlanta Symphony, the Birmingham Symphony and the Greenville Symphony, and she was principal flutist with the National Touring Company's "Phantom of the Opera" at the Fox. Keach is flute professor at the University of West Georgia and at Spelman College. She has produced two meditation music CDs, "As Above So Below" and "Traveling Waves" with pianist, Gordon Porth, which have been embraced within the healing arts community as well as by mainstream music lovers.
