What health disparity are you interested in solving and why?
The health disparity I am committed to addressing is the lack of access to healthcare, a critical aspect of health equity and one of the social determinants of health. For underserved and marginalized populations, particularly those from low-income backgrounds, access to essential health services is vital for ensuring long-term health and improving life expectancy. This includes comprehensive care such as mental health support, dental services, routine physical exams, and more. Ensuring equitable healthcare access is foundational to creating healthier communities and closing the gap in health outcomes.
