What health disparity are you interested in solving and why?
Medication Access and Affordability: Many communities, especially in rural or underserved urban areas, lack convenient access to pharmacies. This is worsened by high drug costs, which often prevent patients from obtaining essential medications. As a pharmacist I could work on creating partnerships to lower drug costs, explore alternative medications, and advocate for policies that increase access to affordable prescriptions. Addressing this ensures that patients can adhere to prescribed regimens without financial strain, improving overall health outcomes.
