What health disparity are you interested in solving and why?
The health disparity I am focused on addressing is the impact of social determinants of health on underrepresented groups. Social determinants like access to healthcare significantly affect health outcomes. I believe that everyone should have the opportunity and resources to achieve their highest level of health. Reducing these inequities can improve health outcomes and help prevent many chronic diseases and conditions that disproportionately affect marginalized communities.
