What health disparity are you interested in solving and why?
I am deeply committed to addressing health disparities as I work toward matriculating into medical school and pursuing a career in healthcare. Among the various disparities, I am particularly focused on the prevalence of asthma in Black populations. As someone who has personally experienced the challenges of living with asthma, I understand the profound impact this condition can have on an individual’s well-being, especially for young children. I aspire to make a meaningful difference by contributing to solutions that address these disparities and positively impact the lives of those affected.
