What health disparity are you interested in solving and why?
Heart disease within specific populations is the health disparity that I am interested in addressing. For example, black men are at a higher risk for heart disease than white men. Heart disease is prevalent in the United States, and I would like to raise awareness to improve health outcomes by managing the risk factors. Furthermore, heart disease is personal to me due to my family history.
