Aaliah Aigbehinmua, C'2025, has won the Spelman College Student Employee of the Year Award and is the College's nominee for the national award. Aigbehinmua is an international student majoring in political science on the pre-law track from London, United Kingdom. For the past three years, she has worked as a student assistant with Habiba Harrell in the Office of Enrollment Management.
“This role has provided me with valuable learning experiences, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity I have had to contribute to the Spelman community,” Aigbehinmua wrote.
This is only the second time Spelman has participated in the national recognition program. The first winner was Aliana Stanley, C’2023, a psychology major. Each spring, NSEA coordinates a selection process and chooses the National Student Employee of the Year (SEOTY) to recognize the outstanding contributions and achievements of students who work while attending college. NSEA’s requirements are listed below. In addition, Spelman student employees must complete a LinkedIn Learning Professional Development course to be eligible for the campus award.
