Domestic Exchange Student Reflections
Wellesley College
I am currently attending Wellesley College, located just outside Boston, Massachusetts.
Adjusting to Wellesley was a little bit hard at first, because most of the academic buildings are spread all throughout the campus. I was grateful that I was not experiencing this alone, because my roommate is also an exchange student from Manchester, England. We helped each other find our way to our classes.
For this semester, I am taking three science courses and an Intro to Shakespeare class. The professors have been more than welcoming, and have really helped me to adjust to Wellesley’s academic culture.
There are many active organizations on campus to join. If you can’t seem to find anything, a shuttle goes into Boston every day. The shuttle takes you to MIT, Harvard, and Boston’s famous shopping district, Newbury Street.
I am really enjoying my time here at Wellesley, and I am excited to learn more.
