I’ve loved my time at Spelman! Being surrounded by dynamic Black women has been truly transformative.
I got the opportunity to participate in Spelman’s 30th Annual Research Day. Listening to different presentations and hearing from amazing women researchers in their respective fields energized me! As a budding social scientist, it was was nice to have the opportunity to practice presenting my research. At the end of the day, I was was given First Prize for Best Presentation in Sociology. What an amazing way to close out my Spelman experience!
