I am currently on exchange at Pitzer College located in Claremont, California. With weather being one of the biggest factors as to why I chose California for an exchange, it has been absolutely beautiful with 70 degrees in the winter.
My classes have been relatively typical as far a college curriculum difficulty. However, with a different demographic of students, I have enjoyed getting to know my peers through a multitude of group assignments and projects. Being in a coed classroom has been a learning experience and so far, has been a great way to hear about different experiences as well as witness different forms of art.
I am taking a class on a farm. As someone who lives a plant-based lifestyle it has been nice getting to sit in a classroom and learn how food arrives on my plate. I have the opportunity to grow fruits and vegetables as a part of the class curriculum!
In the future, I have plans of connecting with alums in Los Angeles and going camping over spring break!
