Taylor Beverly, Class of 2023 | Spelman College

Taylor Beverly is a graduating senior attending Spelman College as a Chemistry major with a Mathematics minor.

During her matriculation through Spelman, she has enthusiastically served the student body as the elected First Year Class Council President, the treasurer for the National Society of Black Engineers, a Spelman Student Ambassador, a Chemistry Learning Center tutor, and was invited to join Dr. Mary Schmidt Campbell’s President’s Reading Circle.

She was also granted admission into scholarly programs such as the Department of Defense Program, the LINCS Program, the Ethel Waddell Githii Honors Program, the LSAMP research scholars’ program, the Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society, and the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society all while upholding her membership by maintaining a 3.94 GPA. This past summer she interned with the Estee Lauder Companies in their skin care formulation lab, and in previous summers she has interned with Stanford University and Johns Hopkins University.

Upon graduation, she plans to move to Dijon, France as she was awarded the Rooted in France HBCU Scholarship sponsored by The Roots Fund where she will be pursuing her Masters of Science in Wine Management at the Burgundy School of Business.
