A Centennial Celebration Spelman Christmas Carol Preview Concert
A Taste of Christmas is a one-hour sampling of Spelman favorites from the 98th annual Spelman-Morehouse Christmas Carol Concert presented by the Spelman College Glee Club. The concert will include narration that highlights the history of the Glee Club, the annual Christmas Carol Concert, music selections, composers, and more! A short Q&A will follow giving the audience an opportunity to ask the conductors and student leaders questions. This is a great opportunity for those who are unable to attend our evening performances or those who just want a sneak peek! The doors will open at 10:30 a.m. and the concert will conclude at noon. At 10 a.m., the Westlake High School Choir will be doing a 30-minute prelude performance in the Upper Manley Student Center before the concert.

Ticketing and Parking
There are no tickets for A Taste of Christmas. If you are an organization, school, or alumnae group, please fill out our group form here. By completing the form, you are confirming your attendance to the concert and reserving space in the Chapel for your group. We are requesting submissions by Nov. 26, 2024. Parking will be available in the Spelman College parking deck for $3. Please note that parking is limited. It is advised to arrive on time or early. The address for GPS directions to Spelman College is 440 Westview Drive, Atlanta, GA 30314.
Toy Drive
The Glee Club will be having a toy drive this year! If you want to participate, please bring your donations to the concert. Collection tables will be available in the lobby of Sisters Chapel from 10 a.m. to the program's start. The toys will be distributed to children and school groups in attendance, following the concert. Any remaining toys will be donated to a local non-profit.
On-Campus Dining Options
Dining is available in the Alma Upshaw Dining Hall located in Upper Manley (Second floor of Manley Student Center). Other options are available in Lower Manley, which include Starbucks, Slutty Vegan, Ace Sushi, and Nom Station.
