How to Request Transcripts

Beginning August 1, 2017, all official transcript requests must be made electronically. In-person, paper requests will no longer be available. Listed below are the two types of transcript requests that can be made by individuals who have matriculated at Spelman College.

Unofficial Transcript (Current Students Only)

1. Log in to the mySpelman portal
2. On the left, click on BANNER
3. Once in BANNER, click on Student and Financial Aid
4. Click on Student Records then Academic Transcript
5. Select Transcript Type "Unofficial" and click Submit

Official Transcript Requests Online

Spelman College has appointed Parchment as the designated agent for processing and sending official electronic transcripts on behalf of the college; official printed transcripts are available for ordering as well. The electronic PDF transcript produced using this service contains identical information as the printed transcript and can be certified as unaltered by uploading the file to the company's website that is provided during the delivery process.

Parchment has been granted the authority to deliver all such electronic transcript requests on behalf of Spelman College and respond to any questions regarding the online transactions.

It is the responsibility of the requestor to verify that the recipient will accept delivery of an electronic PDF transcript. In most cases, electronic transcripts are delivered within 24 hours of placing your order.

Important Notes

Transcript requests will not be processed for students with financial obligations to the College or with restrictive holds on their academic record. Beginning August 1, 2017, all official transcript requests must be made electronically. In-person, paper requests will no longer be available.
