Dr. Marshall Becomes First Guest Lecturer of Kennesaw State Women in Data Science

brandeismarshall4Brandeis Marshall, Ph.D., associate professor and chair of the Department of Computer and Information Sciences, served as the first lecturer of Women in Data Science at Kennesaw State in January 2019.

As the principal investigator of the Data Science Extension program, Dr. Marshall expressed her aim to integrate data science into the curriculum at both Spelman and Morehouse College in hopes of encouraging more students to get involved in the field. Dr. Marshall’s lecture supports the 2022 Strategic Plan theme, “Elevate the Spelman Difference.”
