Theater and Performance Professor Lands Role in New BET Show

keith_boldenKeith Arthur Bolden, M.F.A., assistant professor of theater and performance, has a recurring role in the new BET series "American Soul,” which follows the story of Don Cornelius, creator of ‘Soul Train.’

Bolden will play Mr. Willard, a landlord who tries to help a family struggling to pay the rent in the building he manages. The series premiered on Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 9 p.m.

A mutli-talented artist, Bolden is originally from Los Angeles, California and has been featured in numerous television shows including a recurring role on UNDERGROUND, NASHVILLE and guest starring roles on GREENLEAF, BEING MARY JANE, and SWAMP MURDERS among others. He also, played Principal Garrison in the hit film GOOSEBUMPS. He received his MFA in acting from the University of Illinois @Urbana-Champaign and has since cut his teeth in every major acting market in the U.S., including, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Minneapolis/St. Paul and Atlanta.
