Repeated Courses:
The effect of repeated courses on your GPA
Calculate a grade point average GPA by dividing total quality points
earned by total GPA hrs.
When a course is repeated, “R” is added to the previously earned grade (i.e. “RD”). Once the class is repeated, only the hours earned (Ehrs) for the previous courses are removed from the student's totals.
After the class is repeated, the new grade with its Ehrs, GPA hrs, and quality points are all applied. The new GPA averages the previous grade with the new repeated grade.
