WHAT IS REUNION GIVING?
Reunion Giving is a year-long fundraising campaign that takes place in the months leading up to your Reunion. If you’re celebrating your Reunion in 2010 and want to participate in Reunion Giving, all you have to do is make a gift or pledge payment—of any amount and to any area—between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2010. Your Reunion gift is a powerful way for you to be involved in the life of the College and guarantee that the students of today and tomorrow will be able to enjoy the same transformative Spelman experience that has added so much to your life. In Reunion years, alumnae historically double, or even triple, their annual level of support.
Class Reunion provides a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the impact of Spelman in your life. Spelman presented you with opportunities to learn and grow, to find your place in the world, and to start relationships that have stood the test of time.
WAYS TO GIVE
In keeping with our campaign message, Every Woman…Every Year!, we are asking all Spelman alumnae celebrating their Reunion in 2010 to make a gift to the college no later than 2:00 pm on Friday, May 14, 2010. By meeting this deadline, your gift will be counted at the culminating event on Saturday, May 15th, 2010.Get a jumpstart on your Reunion gift by signing up for Electronic Fund Transfer today. You may make a gift by visiting www.spelman.edu and clicking the Make Your Annual Fund Gift Now link or call 1-866-512-1690 during normal business hours. Remember, participation is about the number of alumnae who contribute, not the amount. As a part of our Every Woman…Every Year Campaign!, we encourage you to make a gift to Spelman College every year.
REUNION GIVING CRITERIA
***All gifts from alumnae to Spelman College will automatically count for their class gift.
***All gifts from non-alumnae in honor of a Reunioner must indicate the alumna’s full name and class year on the gift.
***Deadline for the Blue Note Announcement is Friday, May 14, 2010 at 2:00 pm.
***All Matching Gift Forms must be submitted to the College by Friday, May 14, 2010 at 2:00 pm.
***A Reunioning alumna cannot give in honor of another Reunioning alumna.
***Each class must schedule at least one Reunion TeleFUND.
